Drenched in earthy tones and reverberant moments, holding space to think, reflect and reconnect with Alex’s heavy, hazy vocal at the forefront. Recorded between the serene Welsh valleys and the bustling streets of Brooklyn New York, alongside friend and producer Sahil Ansari. This body of work is an expansion on Alex’s vision to capture the raw and electric energy of creation from a single room. 

 

Previous releases have won acclaim from the likes of Clash, Radio X, BTR Australia, BBC 6 music and Atwood Music, which was celebrated with a limited edition 10’’ vinyl released through artist-led indie label ‘Baby woman’ records towards the end of 2021.

 

Prior to 2023, Alex extensively toured the UK, alongside the likes of Matt Corby, Leif Vollebekk and William McCarthy (The Augustines). Festival appearances included Boardmasters and Glastonbury before headlining St Pancras Old Church for Communion and releasing two live tracks with Mahogany Sessions. 

During his hiatus in 2022, Alex has been a member of JW Francis’s touring band, as well as writing, recording and touring alongside friend and artist George Glew.
